This training comes in three flavours. Presentation of Research offers tricks & tools to present your scientific work in an impressive and clear way. This training may also be used as a preparation to a congress presentation or poster presentation.
Selling the Massage focuses on a presentation in which you want to convince the audience. Maybe you need to convince the audience to honour your research proposal with a grant (for example, the NWO’s Veni, Vidi or Vici scholarships). Maybe you need to convince people to buy your product. Or you would like to convince them of your controversial views in e public lecture.
The third training, Speaking to Laymen, deals with the presentation of your scientific work for a non-scientific audience, such as patients, policy makers or groups of civilians.
In all of these courses we bring out the best in you, so that you are able to speak with charisma, authority, empathy and conviction. We will make sure that you are liked, believed, and trusted. In the courses we work on the preparation (including dealing with stress and nervousness), charisma, and the contents and structure of your story. We share advice and experiences among the participants.
This way you will learn to present and convince, whilst enjoying doing it!
