The sensitive manager
Every manager has many crucial interactions with people. This training is all about judgement of human nature. Managing people demands insight into their character. This is not a talent that you either posess or lack: it is about collecting relevant knowledge about your people: what drives them? How do they view their role and that of their colleagues? How do they deal with conflict? What gives them job satisfaction? Where lie their allergies? With such knowledge and psychological insight it is possible to effectively interact with them.
Another important element is self-knowledge. In interhuman communication, all involved influence the process. Including you, that is. How do you view your position and the roles of your employees? How do you communicate?
During the course we map your qualities by using personality tests and by discussing them among the participants. We invite you to analyse your employees and we discuss the consequences for your communication with them. In individual cases with an actor we apply this knowledge and we practice how to use this in order to motivate, direct, convince or help your people.
