About us

ElroyCOM consists of independent trainers, advisors, coaches and actors. All of them have completed academic Masters or Doctorates. We will introduce ourselves below.

ElroyCOM was founded in 2005 by Dr. Elroy Cocheret de la Morinière (born 03 april 1970 in Amsterdam). He was an assistant-professor Science & Society at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, chairman of the Dutch sector committee for Communication and master coordinator of Communication studies at the Radboud Universiteit in Nijmegen. He is the chief trainer, advisor and personal coach at ElroyCOM. Elroy practices what he preaches: he designs every training with both educative and fun elements. Trainees and coachees describe him as involved, resourceful and helpful. Offering theoretical background and combining it with means to put it to practice are definitely his strongpoints.

Paulien Weikamp (born 29 july 1975 in Warnsveld) finished a degree in psychology and is now a trainer, actor and personal coach. She has extensive experience in working with academic Master and PhD students, postdocs and professors. Next to this career she writes books for children as well as theater plays. With her background she offers clients extra knowledge from psychology.

Drs. Gaby Agsteribbe (born 2 July 1966) studied psychology at the University of Amsterdam. He is a certified trainer in communication skills. Always good for a laugh, Gaby likes to use techniques that are both interactive and fun. He always combines theory, understanding and exercising in a way that offers you enough room to practice.  He likes to focus on what the participant does right, and helps them to improve some of the skills for which they have asked help. Gaby’s sessions are therefore positive, active, fun and effective.

Ronald Jas (born 1 juli 1964 in Goirle) has worked as a communications advisor and manager at several large institutes since  1990. He was the campaign leader of the well-known Dutch campaign ‘Drank maakt meer kapot dan je lief is’. His extensive experience makes him an excellent trainer in the subjects of Management and Media. As a trainer he is best decsribed as passionate, enthusiastic, positiev and helpful.

Ellen Schiffeleers (born February 2, 1968 in Maastricht) is trainer, coach and consultant. In her work she combines her business-knowledge and her 15 years of (project-)management experience with a passion for communication and collaboration. In her work she connects theory with practical exercises, and provides people with insights, tips and a (gentle) push in the right direction. Goal-orientation, sensitivity and empathy are her qualities. Her trademark is securing an unbiased setting in which people feel acknowledged and appreciated.

Bas Jansen (born 18 augustus 1974 in Alkmaar) is a lecturer in psychology and professional training actor. He is also a freelance writer and martial arts (Aikido) teacher. His experience spans the world: he worked in Venezuela, Guatemala, Bolivia, The Netherlands, France, and Israël. Bas easliy improvises, depending on the wishes of the participants. He is always fun to watch or interact with because he puts his heart in it. While you easliy forget he is only an actor when he plays his roles, he always remains professional and makes sure you reach your goals.

Mark van der Zwan (born 15 februari 1971 in Andel) has a background as a technical engineer and consultant in industry, financial services and scientific ecuation. He combines this knowledge with his skills as a theatrical director and training actor. He is always friendly and realistic in his approach. He carefully listens to the needs of the group and individual participants. Mark shows great passion in helping you to increase your comunication toolbox.

Drs. Virginie Kuppens (born 26 June 1970 in Sint Anthonis) finished her Masters degree in Culture, Organisation and Management at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. She specialises in organisational processes. She is a certified trainer in communication and Birkman consultant. For more than 12 years, Virginie has worked as a trainer in the profit and non-profit sectors, including academia. She uses a variety of techniques such as the Group Relations, NLP, and TA. Virginie combines playfulness, curiosity and integrity with a no-nonsense approach to assure the best results for the participants.

Dorien Meijer (born on February 4, 1961 in Emmeloord) holds an MSc in Labour and Organizational Psychology and is registered with the Dutch Institute of Psychologists (NIP). She has broad experience in executive assessments, both in the Netherlands and abroad (Middle East, UK, Norway) and as a coach and training actor. She started her career as an automation expert with an international engineering organization, but switched after 15 years, when she obtained her psychology degree at the Dutch Open University. She is a sharp observer and as an actor she capitalizes on her experience in the business world.

Hedi Visscher (born Augustus 27, 1974 in Sliedrecht) has an academic degree in Business and Change Management. She is also a certified management consultant. Her experience in both the scientific and commercial work field explains her fresh and insightful influence on scientists. During her work she focuses on the needs of the group and the individuals therein, while offering concrete hands-on advice. She helps participants to make their own choices in their development. In a relaxed way and always with a smile, she underlines your strengths and helps you to grow.
